Daily Prompt: Five a Day
You’ve being exiled to a private island, and your captors will only supply you with five foods. What do you pick?
Let me first start off by bragging- I have been told that if anyone were to be stranded on an island, they’d want me as the only other person to be stranded with. Why? Apparently, I’m the last to go crazy/ cannibalistic. I take quite a bit of pride in that. Anyways, the 5 foods I’d totally bring if I were “exiled”:
- Dark chocolate- this is a no-brainer.
- Hashbrowns- my sister is cooking them right now, and that only reminds me of all the goodness they provide.
- Falafel-one of my favorite foods- there’s this little restaurant that I live near that has fresh Middle Eastern/Lebanese food that I absolutely love
- Sugar cookies- to this day, I have never gotten tired of sugar cookies.
- Potstickers-they’re quick, easy, and delicious.
I’ve always believed that I’d fall in love if I were to be stranded on an island with the opposite sex. I’d prefer Freddie Highmore or Jesse McCartney. Don’t even ask me-I don’t even know why…
Question of the Day:
If you were stranded/exiled to an island, what would you bring, food-wise, people-wise, or even entertainment-wise? I’ve had this conversation many times, so I have an answer: everyone from All Time Low, Ellen DeGeneres, my MacBook Air with chargers and wifi, a credit card to charge all my iTunes songs to, and a puppy (preferably a maltipoo).
Come on, how could you say no to that?
PS. Stranded reminds me of the movie Lovewrecked, starring Jonathan Bennett and Amanda Bynes before they grew up too much. Ahh… Nostalgia ![:)]()
